Fuyuan Knitting is committed to providing high-quality lace fabrics and functional materials to customers worldwide. We implement strict quality control for every product and have full confidence in our product quality. If you receive products with quality issues, we will do our utmost to assist in resolving them

Return Period and Conditions

We understand that product quality consistency is crucial in wholesale business. To protect the interests of both parties, we have established the following return policy:

Standard stock orders may be returned within 14 days of receipt, while custom or dyed orders must have quality claims submitted within 7 days of receipt.

We accept return requests due to manufacturing defects, shipping errors, or products that do not meet agreed specifications. However, fabrics that have been cut, washed, or altered cannot be returned—this is standard practice in the textile industry. Similarly, custom-dyed or specially manufactured products (unless there are quality defects), small batches of fabric under 100 meters, and promotional clearance items are also not eligible for returns. We recommend that customers inspect goods immediately upon receipt, especially checking specifications and quality carefully before cutting and use.

Quality Inspection Standards

Fuyuan adopts the widely recognized 4-Point System in the textile industry to evaluate fabric quality. This is an international standard based on the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM D5430), which objectively assesses quality levels by quantifying fabric defects.

In this system, each defect is scored 1 to 4 points based on its size. The industry-accepted standard is no more than 40 defect points per 100 square yards. This means that minor flaws within this range fall within normal textile industry tolerances and do not constitute quality issues. All our fabrics undergo rigorous inspection using this system before shipment to ensure compliance with international quality standards.

For color, we allow a tolerance of ±5% variance from approved samples or Pantone color cards, which is also within industry standard range. Slight color variations may exist between different dye lots, which is an inherent characteristic of textile dyeing processes. We recommend customers request physical samples for confirmation before placing orders, as computer monitors cannot accurately represent actual fabric colors.

Return Process

To standardize management and improve processing efficiency, all returns require prior authorization. This is standard practice in international trade and helps avoid confusion while protecting both parties’ interests.

When you need to return goods, please first contact our customer service team via email (echo@fuyuan-knitting.com) or phone (+86-15859134299). Please provide your order number, product details, and reason for return. If it’s a quality issue, please attach clear photos for our quick assessment. Our team will review your application within 24 to 48 business hours and provide you with a Return Authorization number (RA number) along with detailed return instructions and address.

When shipping back goods, please clearly mark the RA number on the exterior of the package and keep the fabric in its uncut, unwashed original condition. We recommend using trackable shipping methods and retaining shipping receipts. Upon receiving the return, we will complete inspection within 3 to 5 business days and notify you of the results via email.

Regarding shipping costs: if the return is due to our manufacturing defects or shipping errors, shipping costs will be borne by Fuyuan. If it’s due to customer’s change of mind or other non-quality reasons, the customer must bear the return shipping costs. For international orders, unless it’s our responsibility, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Refund Information

After inspection confirms the return meets requirements, we will refund the payment to your original payment method. The entire refund process typically takes 7 to 10 business days, with bank processing potentially requiring an additional 3 to 5 days.

Special Order Instructions

For bulk orders (over 1000kg), samples will be provided for your confirmation before production. If finished products have quality issues requiring return, please provide detailed documentation and photographic records. We will prioritize these applications and arrange production and shipment of replacement fabric within 15 to 20 business days. For cases where partial fabric is defective, we accept partial returns.

Custom-dyed or specially developed orders can only be returned if the finished product shows significant differences from approved samples. Since custom products are manufactured specifically for you, color variations within ±5% or minor pattern differences are within acceptable range. Each custom order situation will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and we will negotiate solutions with you based on fair and reasonable principles.

For small batch orders (under 500kg), we provide relatively flexible return policies, especially for first-time customers. We encourage new customers to place small trial orders first and make large purchases after satisfaction.

Handling Damaged Goods

If you receive goods damaged during transportation, please take the following measures immediately: do not cut or alter the fabric, clearly document the damage with photos, contact us within 48 hours of receipt, and retain all packaging materials and courier documents. We will immediately open a fast-track processing channel for you, provide prepaid return labels, and file claims with the carrier. For transportation damage, we will prioritize sending replacement goods.

How to Avoid Returns

Most return issues can actually be avoided through good communication and prior confirmation. We strongly recommend customers request samples before formally placing orders and carefully check details such as color, hand feel, and specifications. For custom products, please confirm all specification requirements in writing before production.

After receiving goods, please open and inspect as soon as possible, checking against order confirmations and packing lists. If you discover any issues, please contact us immediately before cutting and use. Often, a timely phone call can quickly resolve issues and avoid subsequent return troubles. Frequently Asked Questions

Can cut fabric be returned?
Unfortunately, no. Once fabric is cut, even if there are quality issues, we cannot accept returns. This is standard practice in the textile industry. Therefore, we recommend carefully inspecting fabric quality before cutting.

Can I return if the color differs from the computer display?
Computer monitor colors will always differ from actual fabric. This is why we recommend customers request physical samples before placing large orders. Minor color differences are within normal range and do not constitute grounds for return.

How long does refund take?
After return approval, we will process the refund to your original payment account within 7 to 10 business days. Actual receipt time also depends on your bank’s processing speed, typically requiring an additional 3 to 5 days.

Who bears the shipping costs?
If the return is due to product quality defects or our shipping errors, shipping costs are borne by Fuyuan. If it’s the customer’s own reasons (such as change of mind, ordering wrong specifications, etc.), the customer must bear the shipping costs.

What about small flaws in fabric?
Please take photos and contact us. We will evaluate based on the 4-Point System. If flaws are within industry standards (below 40 points per 100 square yards), they are within acceptable range. If exceeding standards, we will process returns or compensation for you.

Can custom fabrics be returned?
Custom-dyed or specially developed fabrics can only be returned if there are significant differences from approved samples. Since these products are manufactured specifically for you and we cannot resell them to other customers, the policy is relatively strict. We will provide sample confirmation before production to avoid subsequent issues.
